RADIO WORM
w/ Echo Ho

On this episode, Anne Wellmer (NE) presents the German artist Echo Ho. They took a walk, talked, and Echo shared with Anne a large selection of “songs” to choose from. On Tuesday, Anne will share some of the selected pieces, and fragments of their conversation. Tune in!

Echo’s songs, a collage

Anne & Echo met in Berlin and walked across a beautiful cemetery where many feminist and queer activists are buried, next to the Brothers Grimm. It was a beautiful sunny day, the 1st of March 2025. Tiny purple crocuses were popping up everywhere and a fearless fox crossed their path.

About the Artist

Echo Ho, born in Beijing and based in Berlin, is an interdisciplinary artist whose modular, onomatopoeic, and poetically estranged practice spans performance, installation, and multimedia art. Integrating ritual, technology, and storytelling, Ho interweaves historical narratives and intimate moments to navigate cross-cultural complexities, memory, identity, and our evolving relationships with nature, culture, and AI. Her multisensory works reimagine ancient instruments, contemporary Shanshui landscapes, and algorithmic art, inviting collective reflection on contemporary challenges. She has exhibited internationally at ZKM Karlsruhe, He Xiangning Art Museum, and ISEA.
