Our guest is Dorota Márföldi-Matejová, a traverso & wooden flutes player, performer-composer and poet from Slovakia, based in Rotterdam. She is fascinated by and rooted in physicality and musicality of the body, instrument, sound, voice, poetry. Coming from experimental, early-classical and club music backgrounds, an important mission for her is to share and bring music and poetry into diverse spaces, pushing and breaking class and genre divisions within performing arts, but also between performer and audience.
In the show we also talk about her programme Living Breathing Spaces No.1, a poetry and music event in Rotterdam-Zuid on the 7th of September.
