CONCERTS

Throughout the discussions, NE  realised that there was a real need for action-based solutions that not only allow the voice of artists to come through but also to claim and occupy more space for their music. We, thus, began with organizing concert events to support the new music of artists and composers and diversify the contemporary and experimental music scene.

In 2019 we launched the self-curated series of concert events, Glow in the Dark, to promote and support diversity in Electronic music and Sound art. Glow in the Dark travels in various cities in the Netherlands and beyond. 

In 2024 we also launched our free improvisation series Spelltown. In this series we aim at stimulating the invited artists to experiment, explore new musical expressions, and/or form new collaborations. Each event closes with an improvisation set where artists and (some of) the NE members meet altogether on stage.
